If your Volkswagen is in need of a service or it's time to change your car, we have introduced new hygiene initiatives at our dealership and remote consultations. We are open and here to help in a way that works for you, all as part of our Volkswagen Safer Measures.

Some of the safer measures in relation to hygiene and social distancing at our dealership include:

  • Showroom customers will be greeted and signs describing the safety measures will be in place
  • Hand sanitisation options available in showrooms and customer toilets
  • Contactless payment is available
  • Counters and workplaces are disinfected regularly
  • Thorough hand washing is practiced by all staff
  • Distance measures have been put in place in the seating areas
  • Distance and hygiene measures have been implemented in the service bays, parts area and workshops
  • Hygiene measures are observed during handover and a distanced handover takes place

To facilitate distancing and reduce physical contact, remote processes are in place. Our staff will explain the steps involved as you progress with your sale, which include:

  • While you research your car, our sales people are present and available through remote contact: telephone, e-mail, contact forms
  • Our retailers can share video content and reviews of our model range
  • Online car configurator, digital brochures, digital product guides and indicative finance calculators are available online to provide information and pricing on car specifications
  • Before and after a test drive, the car is thoroughly cleaned using sanitisation procedures
  • Staff are trained on carrying out a touchless handover

We are open for service and maintenance work as usual, with the following safer measures in place:

  • You can book a service online using our online service booking tool or over the phone
  • Technicians practice thorough hygiene measures and workshop tools are disinfected between use
  • We clean and sanitise the interior and exterior of your vehicle before handing it back to you
  • We offer video consultations, digital communication and telephone throughout the service process to facilitate ongoing communication remotely where possible
  • All vehicles are thoroughly cleaned inside and out before being worked on or being handed back over to consumers to ensure disinfection
  • Vehicles are quarantined for half a day where possible
  • All staff practice hand hygiene measures and wear suitable clothing to prevent transfer of a the virus within the car
